من حكمة الله سبحانه أن فاضل بين خلقه زمانا ومكانا، ففضل بعض الأمكنة على بعض ، وفضل بعض الأزمنة على بعض، ففضل في الأزمنة شهر رمضان على سائر الشهور، فهو فيها كالشمس بين الكواكب، واختص هذا الشهر بفضائل عظيمة ومزايا كبيرة، فهو الشهر الذي أنزل الله فيه القرآن، قال تعالى : { شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدىً للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان } ( البقرة 185) ، وعن واثلة بن الأسقع رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ( أنزلت صحف إبراهيم عليه السلام في أول ليلة من رمضان ، وأنزلت التوراة لست مضين من رمضان ، والإنجيل لثلاث عشرة خلت من رمضان ، وأنزل الفرقان لأربع وعشرين خلت من رمضان ) رواه أحمد .وهو الشهر الذي فرض الله صيامه، فقال سبحانه : { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ...
